Krames is an Patient Education and Discharge Instruction application that can be used as either a stand alone weblink or integrated into our Meditech application via Patient Discharge Instructions (PDI).
Krames Exit Writer Discharge Instructions are evidenced based and are routinely updated by the vendor.
They are available in multiple languages.
Currently being used by our Inpatient Nursing Staff to provide Patient Education via the web link version.
Integration with Meditech allows for this information to flow into our Medical Record to accurately account for what instructions/education was provided to our patients.
