Chief Information Officer – Fariba Borjian
Fariba Borjian is Chief Information Officer for the East Florida division of Tennessee-based HCA Healthcare, the nation’s leading provider of healthcare services. As CIO, Fariba provides strategic direction and leadership for the development and implementation of innovative and meaningful health IT solutions for physicians, caregivers, hospitals and free-standing imaging and surgery centers in communities across South Florida and Florida’s Treasure Coast.
A 27-year veteran of HCA Healthcare, Ms. Borjian has become known for her expertise and thought leadership in strategic planning, staffing, vendor analysis and selection, supply chain, implementation management and system design.
Prior to accepting her executive level roles within HCA Healthcare, Fariba gained a breadth of management, program development, project management, solution delivery and leadership experience in large-scale healthcare and university settings.
Fariba earned her master’s degree in computer science, cum laude, and her bachelor’s of science degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Miami.
